Hi, Steve, What an earthshaking experience -- to meet for the first time the lovely little one belonging to you and Jen. It was such a tender moment to see you bundle her up and then allow me to hold her on her very first day. Such an unforgettable treasured moment, and you know I do so thank you. I did not expect to do anything but see her for a minute and then allow the two of you to rest, so this was such a gift. I thought of Abby all night and wondered what the nurse told you about her adorable little breathing snorts...they are so inexperienced...they need to learn how to breathe, how to swallow, how to eat, how to deal with lights, noises, etc. It must be so utterly befuddling to them when first arriving. I wondered if she had just eaten and perhaps the nourishment had not been completely digested yet? The nurse said that she thought it was nose stuff. What is today like for the two of you? I know how tired you are so will give you time until you get home, so let me know if there is something you need and I will try and run it over. I need to get my inspection sticker today but other than that, I should be able to drive without the police chasing me. LOve, mom,Mimi
